On Eagles Wings Vol. 1 (2025) | Oh Sister, Oh Friend
Mixed media sculpture and sound piece made in collaboration with artist Rosemary Koku for her solo exhibition ‘Oh Sister Oh Friend’.
The soundscape features a collage of sonic excerpts from news anchors, press conferences, audio from #BringBackOurGirls protests in Lagos and the US, testimonials from released Chibok Girls, self scored compositions, musical samples and more.
Created in response to Rosemary Koku’s ‘missing girls series’ - a body of work dedicated to the Chibok Girls & others abducted as a result of extremist violence & wider sociopolitical issues in North East Nigeria.
