Mimi Koku is a Nigerian-born multidisciplinary artist, performer, researcher and film director working between London and Lagos.
Her practice employs the moving image, sound, sculpture and movement, whilst engaging with both personal & communal archives, ecology, technology and design to produce works of fiction, documentaries, texts, audio-visual experiments, installations, soundscapes, images and more. As a musician, Mimi works as the lead vocalist for London-based music collective Monzanto Sound and performs as a singer-songwriter under the same name.
