Mimi Koku is a Nigerian-born multidisciplinary artist, performer, researcher and film director working between London and Lagos.
Her practice employs the moving image, sound, sculpture and performance, whilst engaging with both personal & communal archives, ecology, technology and design. She has produced works of fiction, documentaries, texts, audio-visual experiments, installations, soundscapes, images and more.
As a musician, Mimi is part of the London-based music collective Monzanto Sound and performs as a singer-songwriter under her name.
